Non-metallic dielectric components to your exact needs

Custom Fabrication -
available in virtually any shape and for every function. We take into account the fabricating processes, part specifications, geometry, and dimensional tolerance requirements.

Design and Testing -
We work hand-in-hand with customers to select an appropriate material and then design and sample finished parts to ensure that they completely meet the required specifications. Enjoy a comprehensive array of services including stamping, die-cutting, slitting, rewinding, sheeting and custom conversion, along with a wide range of secondary and assembly operations.

Materials converted -
Films, papers, laminates, plastics, flexible composites,
printed and non printed materials, non wovens.

Tolerances -
Precision slitting to .003 inch on most thicknesses

Unwind -
Master rolls up to 72 inch wide can be slit or sheered

Unwind Core Size -
3-, 6-, 8-, or 10-inch ID (inner diameter) can be accommodated for slitting

Unwind OD (Outer Diameter)
Rolls up to 40-inch OD or 2500 lbs can be accommodated for slitting

Rewind -
Slit rolls from .125 inch wide to 72 inch wide on most thicknesses, from .0005 inch thick to .045 inch thick on most widths, OD's up to 25 inch can be produced on nearly all substrates, shear and razor slitting, ID's 3-, 6-, 1.5-, 1.25-inch + no core

Delivery -
Same day, next day or 48 hour expedited service available for most applications. Packaging options to meet the most cost-sensitive requirements and the strictest specs. Unique bar code labels and customized packing lists using standard formats or customer's own.
Timely and accurate inventory reporting via fax, on-line with scheduled monthly reconciliations. We can receive product from vendor and ship to customer under your name as your midwest warehouse. Detailed roll and lot traceability systems identify every roll both parent and slit roll from receipt through slitting to shipment.

Competitive pricing -
on single jobs or multi-year contracts billed in your unit of measure (lbs, sy, msi, hours, rolls or sheets).
Information management ensures all details are done right.

Die Cutting -
Whether 25 or 25 million pieces, our staff will work with your company to develop a cost effective process.

Competitive advantages -
High-speed precision reciprocating presses, from 15 to 100 tons, precision die-cutting presses with adhesive application and rotary die-cutting for thick, medium and thin sheets. Parts can be cut into individual pieces or placed on a liner to remain in roll form. Application of adhesives to varying substrates and lamination of various materials. In-house material prep and finish. Full converting capabilities in-house.

Tool design and construction -
created in house with the most up-to-date software. In-house design provides the tightest control in accuracy.
Most tool construction is performed in house assuring rapid replacement if damaged.

FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester) -
sheet laminates offer dimensional stability, low creep and high flexural strength. Thermoset laminates? excellent insulating properties and resistance to melting at high heat render them extremely useful as primary and secondary electrical insulation and thermal barriers.

Available in GPO-1, GPO-2, and GPO-3 grades, select grades of IDI FRP sheet laminates can also be used in AIEE-Class B through H electrical applications. IDI provides a full range of molded thicknesses, from 1/32-inch to 1-3/8-inch, along with 36x72 and 48x7-inch sheets.
